"Manor2" for Return to Castle Wolfenstein
by Hegel (email@example.com
**NOTE** This map only works in MP and SW modes. CP is not supported (I hate Checkpoint :P).
Changes in the new version:
-docs room now has a window
-attic trapdoor now leads directly to dining room
-added 10 seconds to Allied limbo time
-Well is now easier to jump into
-lights in bunker stairways now line up and no longer snag players
-added some vis optimizations
-chandelier lights now display correctly
-various cosmetic fixes
Unzip the mp_manor2.pk3 file to the \main subdirectory of your RtCW installation (for example,
c:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main). It is not necessary to delete the previous
version (mp_manor), but it won't hurt anything if you do, either.
This is my first attempt at mapping. I've been playing FPS games since Wolfenstein3D (on a Laser
486/25, woohoo) but I never had the inclination to try mapping until RtCW. Now that I've seen how
it works, all I can say is I have a lot of respect for people like Rummie and Fiesling who actually
appear to know what the hell they're doing. Anyway, this is my humble contribution, and I hope you
enjoy it. Don't forget to try sliding down the chimney ;).
Axis forces in occupied France are attempting to steal a copy of the plans for a rumored Allied
invasion. The plans are inside a rural manor, which has been converted into a secret safehouse by
1. Destroy the underground Bunker Door.
2. Steal the Invasion Plans.
3. Transmit the Invasion Plans via the secret Radio Room.
Materials Used: GtkRadiant 1.2.4, EasyGen, Photoshop.
Machine: Celeron 800 @ 1032MHz, 256MB SDRAM, GeForce2 GTS 32MB.
Thanks to clan SchwarzGeburt for testing and feedback. ^SG^ ownz j00!
